About the Artist
My fine art painting career began in 2003, after retiring from Land Surveying and Commercial Real Estate.
Born in Arizona, in 1934, I married my high school sweetheart in 1954, a Hoosier and moved to Indiana in 1962, currently I live and paint in the Broad Ripple area.
Although not educated in traditional art schools, I have had lessons from some of the best art instructors available. I have attended art classes, workshops, and regularly paint plein air in Indiana, Michigan, Arizona and Texas.
I have studied with John Reynolds, Vesta Seville, Ronald P. Mack, Farideh Peacock, Janet Collins, George Redmond, Robert Eberle, Tom Bluemlein, Gregg Kruetz, C.W. Mundy, Jerry Botzum and Ken Auster. I may have missed someone, for which I apologize.I attend many paint outs in Indiana each year. Now and then I like to travel to the southwest to paint.
